The Monuriki Island is the one of most beautiful islands in the Mamanuca Island group in Fiji. Monuriki would not ordinarily be noteworthy for any particular reason, but it came into the spotlight when it was used as the main location in Tom Hanks film, “Cast Away”. Monuriki has now become a popular tourist destination due to its appearance in the film.

From Nadi International Airport
- Flights on a helicopter (Island Hoppers) or float plane offer the fastest, and most expensive, way to reach the islands.
From Denarau Marina
The marina is a 20 minutes drive from Nadi Airport. In this marina has two kind of boat to Mamanuca Island as below.
- Large, luxury catamarans with seating for approximately 150 people take several hours to reach your destination, depending on which island is your destination.
- Water Taxis (Seafiji) also service the islands in aluminium catamarans. They are the most affordable transportation, especially for groups going to the same destination.
